Sustainable development - CKF_13

Acting in the spirit of sustainable development is important both for CKF_13 and the entire Fabryczna 13 Complex.

We strive to create a space that encourages the conscious organization of events, combining business goals with a positive impact on the surroundings. Together with our clients, we want to build a future where every event contributes to sustainable development without depleting the resources of future generations.

We are committed to continuously improving ESG practices. Alongside our clients, we create events that are not only successful but also responsible and sustainable.

We are already proud of the modern ecological solutions implemented in the Fabryczna 13 complex and the practices we undertake for sustainable development (more information below).

At CKF_13, responsibility for the environment, community, and ethical management is one of the foundations of our activities. We implement solutions that minimize our impact on the ecosystem, such as energy-efficient systems and zero-waste waste management. We support local initiatives, organize educational events, and promote ethical business practices. We focus on transparency and high standards of collaboration to build a sustainable future.

We encourage you to read the document on CKF_13’s Sustainability Policy, where we describe in detail our actions and goals.

During the planning and revitalization of the buildings, INTER-BUD Group implemented several modern solutions supporting sustainable development. The complex features energy-efficient lighting systems, solutions to reduce water consumption, and technologies that minimize the carbon footprint. Additionally, great emphasis has been placed on efficient waste management and the use of eco-friendly building materials. Fabryczna 13 is a complex where modern solutions have been implemented with care for the environment.

We encourage you to explore the full range of implemented ecological installations!

We actively engage in the development of sustainable tourism and events by participating in numerous training sessions, workshops, and discussion panels organized by Krakow Network and Krakow Convention Bureau. Sharing experiences with industry experts allows us to implement innovative solutions that align with the strategy of sustainable development and improve the quality of organized events.

A great example of our commitment is Mariola Job, Sales Manager at CKF_13, who earned the “Sustainable Tourism in Practice” certificate, confirming her knowledge and competencies in responsible event space management. This is another step toward implementing even more ecological and socially responsible solutions at CKF_13.

Swapping is an initiative that supports the idea of zero waste, allowing you to refresh your wardrobe sustainably. All you need to do is bring clothes you no longer wear and exchange them for others brought by participants. It’s simple, free, and an eco-friendly solution that gives clothes a second life, reducing the waste of resources and promoting a more conscious approach to fashion.

The purpose of swapping is not only to exchange clothes but also to promote responsible consumption. Such activities reduce the waste of resources necessary for the production and processing of fabrics and textiles.

As a result of the first edition, 659 kg of CO₂ was not released into the atmosphere, which is as much as 101 trees absorb in a year, or is emitted by a car after driving about 2,400 km. It also allowed to save as much as 319,162 liters of water, which is as much as a person drinks on average in 70 years!
